Rankin remains vigilant after rabid dog attack
A toddler from Rankin Inlet who was mauled by a rabid dog has been released from a hospital in Winnipeg. A spokesperson for the department of health and social services says the child was treated for rabies, and health workers in Rankin Inlet will keep an eye on the two year old.
